The Mosaic Shop is situated on the famous Pulteney Bridge overlooking the River Avon in Bath. We are open from 9.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday. For those who cannot visit us in person we offer a mail order service.

As well as its stunning Georgian architecture, the city is well-known as the site of a Roman temple and sacred baths, built on a natural hot spring. While mosaic as an art form dates back much earlier it reached its height of appreciation during the Roman times. Imagine the visual intensity of colour as water transformed the natural stone laid into wonderful patterns and sacred images.

Our mosaic tiles are supplied on gummed paper-faced sheets, removed in warm water, or loose in mixed-colour bags. they are suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, but outdoor applications normally require the use of cement-based adhesives and grouts. Unless otherwise stated they are all about 4mm in depth.

* Please note that this site links to colour ranges that are accurately colour-balanced to our screens - yours may be different. We have also noticed that flat screens sometimes give a lighter appearance, which changes according to the angle of viewing.
